Considering training with a provider not listed?

Contact us at 919-707-5950 before you train with any provider not listed in our directory. This helps ensure the training is acceptable for North Carolina certification.

To earn N.C. certification, your training provider and course must be accredited by the state or:

  • The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), or a state with a U.S. EPA-authorized state program, or
  • A state, tribe or territory that has a written reciprocity agreement with North Carolina's program

Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi have reciprocity agreements with North Carolina. Training with providers accredited by these states may be acceptable. Reciprocity agreements are subject to change, so call us first to confirm.
