To earn N.C. accreditation, your training provider and course must be accredited by the state or:

  • The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), or 
  • A state with a U.S. EPA-authorized state program

Note: The Health Hazards Control Unit does not accept online/virtual or hybrid (a mix of in-person or online) asbestos training.
