NC Medicaid MCOs | Division of Public Health

NC Medicaid and the Division of Public Health have partnered to ensure that all North Carolinians who are members of one of Medicaid MCOs (prepaid health plans or tailored plans) have access to additional counseling and medication support to quit smoking, vaping, or using any tobacco products. All of the MCOs contract directly with Noth Carolina’s Quitline vendor to pay for enhanced services for their members to promote positive health outcomes. If it is determined during the QuitlineNC intake process that a caller is a member of one of the MCOs, they will be placed in that enhanced support track.
