North Carolina Immunization Program (NCIP) is sharing an important provider notification from GSK regarding a barcode labeling issue affecting three lot numbers of FluLaval® TIV Pre-filled Syringe 0.5 ml for the 2026–2027 influenza season.
The affected lot numbers are:

The linear barcode printed on the syringe label contains an incorrect National Drug Code (NDC). When scanned, the linear barcode may return the NDC associated with the 2025–2026 FluLaval product rather than the 2026–2027 product.
The vaccine contained in the affected syringes is the correct 2026–2027 FluLaval product. No other FluLaval lots or GSK products are affected by this issue.
What Providers Should Do
Providers who receive one of the affected lot numbers should be aware that scanning the linear barcode on the syringe may return the incorrect NDC for the 2025–2026 FluLaval product.
For accurate 2026–2027 product information, providers should use the printed information on the syringe label, the 2D barcode on the syringe, or the linear barcode on the 10-unit packaging box.
GSK has also provided a corrected linear barcode that can be scanned to enter the appropriate product information electronically.
