Step 1: CIT Food Protection & Facilities Checklist
Download and review the CIT Food Protection & Facilities Checklist (PDF).
Complete and submit the checklist to the Training and Authorization (TAP) Specialist on or before the first day of training. All activities on the checklist must contain the date completed and the initials of the intern and supervisor.
Step 2: Complete Distance Learning Activities
Review the presentations and reference materials for each topic and complete the Distance Learning Guide (PDF).
Complete and submit the guide to the Training and Authorization (TAP) Specialist on or before the first day of training by emailing ehs.authorization@dhhs.nc.gov.
Please note that some presentations are available on the YouTube channel, while others are only provided in a PPT or PDF format. For PowerPoint presentations (PPT), please use the notes provided with each slide when viewing the presentations.
