Facilities Reporting Test Results

As of May 12, 2023, North Carolina no longer requires reporting of COVID-19 test results, positive or negative. If you are currently reporting results electronically, we welcome your test results. Please note that the eCATR portal is no longer available to report COVID tests. If you'd like to continue electronic reporting, please contact clda.supportservices@dhhs.nc.gov, and we can review available options.

Facilities licensed through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), such as skilled nursing facilities, must continue to follow CMS requirements for reporting COVID-19 test results and vaccine status through the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). If you need assistance connecting to NHSN, please contact us at clda.supportservices@dhhs.nc.gov.
