This email is to inform you that the March Provider Webinar has been canceled due to our upcoming VFC Provider Conference. The next webinar will be held on April 7, 2025. In absence of the March webinar, we have an important update to share regarding measles reporting, testing, and vaccination.

The North Carolina Immunization Program (NCIP) provider profile submission is now open. All NCIP enrolled providers are required to submit a provider profile (which indicates the number of eligible and non-eligible patients served by your practice) every 12 months to continue to receive vaccine(s) and remain active in the program. Failure to complete the provider profile survey by April 4, 2025 may result in suspension from the NCIP.

This is a reminder that today, January 31st, is the last day for ABRYSVO® administrations for pregnant persons for the 2024-2025 RSV season.

The purpose of this communication is to notify North Carolina Immunization Program (NCIP) providers that McKesson is holding all Vaccines for Children (VFC) orders for our state due to extreme weather conditions. Orders will not ship Tuesday, 1/21/2025.

We understand the importance of timely vaccine delivery and are closely monitoring the situation. We will keep you updated on any changes or new information as soon as we receive it.

This email is to inform you of two important updates regarding vaccine availability.

The North Carolina Immunization Program (NCIP) is offering additional doses of seasonal influenza vaccines specifically for farmworkers. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance vaccination efforts due to the ongoing circulation of H5 avian influenza, which has been identified in wild birds, poultry, and dairy cattle across the United States, including within North Carolina. By prioritizing flu vaccinations for farmworkers, we aim to lower their risk of developing severe illness related to seasonal flu and help prevent the spread of disease.

Reminder: Annual Immunization Reports are due Jan. 15, 2025.  If you have already completed a report, please disregard this message.
