Dear Local Health Department Partner,This email is to inform you that eligibility for existing doses of Ukrainian IPOL® poliovirus vaccine has been expanded to include all uninsured and underinsured adults (NOT VFC-eligible children). It is important to note that this change only applies to doses currently on-hand. To reduce waste, if you still have available doses of IPOL® on-hand, we encourage you to take advantage of the expanded eligibility for these vaccines.

This email is to inform you that the March Provider Webinar has been canceled due to our upcoming VFC Provider Conference. The next webinar will be held on April 7, 2025. In absence of the March webinar, we have an important update to share regarding measles reporting, testing, and vaccination.
The North Carolina Immunization Program (NCIP) provider profile submission is now open. All NCIP enrolled providers are required to submit a provider profile (which indicates the number of eligible and non-eligible patients served by your practice) every 12 months to continue to receive vaccine(s) and remain active in the program. Failure to complete the provider profile survey by April 4, 2025 may result in suspension from the NCIP.

This is a reminder that today, January 31st, is the last day for ABRYSVO® administrations for pregnant persons for the 2024-2025 RSV season.
The purpose of this communication is to notify North Carolina Immunization Program (NCIP) providers that McKesson is holding all Vaccines for Children (VFC) orders for our state due to extreme weather conditions. Orders will not ship Tuesday, 1/21/2025.We understand the importance of timely vaccine delivery and are closely monitoring the situation. We will keep you updated on any changes or new information as soon as we receive it.
