Katz, M.D. Excellence in Immunization Award during the 2026 NC DHHS Vaccines for Children Conference, scheduled March 4 – 6, 2026, at the Koury Conference Center in Greensboro, NC. This award recognizes outstanding individuals or organizations that have implemented innovative strategies to enhance immunization coverage among children, adolescents, and adults.

This email is to inform you of the final dates to submit orders for the 2024–2025 COVID-19 vaccine season. Based on vaccine shelf life and product availability, the last ordering dates are as follows:
Dear Local Health Department Partner,This email is to inform you that the North Carolina Immunization Program (NCIP) has additional 317 VFA funding to support MMR vaccine availability for Local Health Departments (LHDs). This supplemental funding expires at the end of September, or until funds are exhausted. MMR is routinely available to LHDs for uninsured eligible adults through the NCIP with 317 VFA funds. However, this additional, time-limited funding allows for an increased supply of MMR doses to support your vaccination efforts.
The purpose of this email is to remind VFC-enrolled providers that the monoclonal antibody product nirsevimab (trade name Beyfortus® manufactured by Sanofi) will be available for ordering on Friday, August 1, 2025.
