N.C. Well Contractor Certification Reciprocity
A reciprocity agreement is in place between the North Carolina Well Contractors Certification Commission and the State of Tennessee's Department of Environment and Conservation Division of Water Resources. Effective July 1, 2014, this agreement waives the written examination and field observation requirements for those licensed in Tennessee who are applying to obtain certification as a well contractor in North Carolina. In return, the written and oral examinations required for licensing in Tennessee are waived for those applicants certified in North Carolina.
